Shinola has helped make American design important again on a global scale. Celebrating the engineering and creativity indicative to Detroit’s heritage, they are making phenomenal products and creating jobs. The sound quality and design refinement of the turntable we selected for the Bungalow, make it a piece of art. I really respond to the aesthetic of the bikes - everything you want in a bike quality and personality. Riding ones makes me feel cool.
DOMINGUE
I love that Domingue paint is all natural lime based. While sustainability is top of everyone’s mind, it’s difficult to discern what you’re getting with all the white noise in the industry. Domingue is true to their mission - they’re color palates are rich and sophisticated and the texture is reminiscent of a time that once was. When you look at it you realize there is something special about this paint.
CLE TILES
An incredible company that is always such a joy to work with. Their simple hand hewn designs are a breath of fresh air and really feel timeless and elegant. The tiles are thick and durable and feel like they will last a lifetime. My favorite is the natural unglazed zellige,

An inspiring American company that has created a wide range of high quality, refined, long lasting products – all with an elevated design. Not only do they compete on a global scale with the values of family business, they offer a tremendous amount of custom finishes and styles. Their Culinary Kitchen Faucet is a show stopper!
EMTEK
Emtek is a company I’ve been using for years on projects. They’re amazing to work with and their products are just as special. The Stretto line is reminiscent of the Elegant European locks and their Athena un-lacquered polished brass is my absolute favorite. Truly couldn’t imagine my home without them.
KNIDUSTRIE
I was first attracted to their clean and simple lines, their beautiful colors, and their clever shapes and sizes. After using them I fell in love with their light weight, durable construction, and easy to clean surfaces. They are as functional as they are beautiful on the stove top. Made in Italy, designed by Italian cooks, and inspiring the chef in everyone.
PITT
PITT cooking has completely revolutionized the stove top. Making their burners integrated into the counter top creates an exquisite look while remaining extremely functional. When I first saw them, there was no question in my mind that they had to be incorporated into the Kitchen design. You can find PITT cooking via Better Distribution.
FULGOR MILANO
Knowing how serious Italians are about food what better company to bring into our kitchen than Fulgor Milano. Their appliances incorporate smart design, clean sleek aesthetic, and top performance. They are extremely easy to use and a beautiful focal point to the kitchen.
FRANKE
Franke has been an industry leader in kitchen products for years. They’re Chef Center Sink was love at first sight - clean modern lines incorporated with organized smart design. Such as, compartments for both compost and cleaning supplies as well as accessories like a roll up drying rack, a drop-in drain board, and a glass cutting board. By far the coolest sink I’ve ever seen.
REJUVENATION
I’ve always been a fan Rejuvenation form their lights to their hardware and we couldn’t complete the Bungalow without them. Their Closier Polished Brass Mast Light, their super cool mid-century mail box, and their Warren House Numbers are the perfect exterior finishing touches to our home.
FLOYD
I was inspired by Floyd’s dedication to good design, approachable pricing, quality materials and easy shipping. We were in love with the clean modern look of the bed and even more impressed with the 15-minute set up from box to bed. It’s the centerpiece to the Master Bedroom.
HEM
Beautifully designed Swedish furniture with specialty materials like oiled walnut or vibrant rich colored powdered colored steel – all at approachable prices. Their Hide Side Table and Alle Coffee Table set, we’re exactly what we needed to complete the guest bedroom and den.
LIMBIC
Limbic is the brainchild of my long-time colleague and design director Paula Rodriguez. The coffee table we chose is not only beautiful but it’s design is well thought out and playful. Handmade from the best materials while maintaining practical yet avant-garde designs, not to mention approachable pricing.
